Ted was born in the Florida panhandle and raised in the Devil’s Triangle. He bought his first camera, a Hasselblad 500cm with an 80mm Zeiss lens in 1977 for $750.00. His lifestyle images are spacious, yet intimate, with lots of emotional liveliness. Ted lives near the beach with his wife Debbie who he met at the U.C.L.A art department many years ago. On their first date they went bowling and had cheeseburgers at the Apple Pan. Ted & Debbie have 5 boys.
Ted likes roasting and drinking coffee, surfing with his sons, reading science fiction books, prentending to be a Japanese gardener and yoga. Teds' blog, The White Album, features photos and musings about existence and coffee after the break up of The Beatles. He still has his Hasselblad.
